How we calculate
- Centerpieces and candles are counted for every guest table. We take the number of tables from the form or work it out from your guest count (about 9 guests per table).
- Prices at three levels: centerpiece $40 / $90 / $200 per table, arch or backdrop $300 / $600 / $1,200, string lights $400-1,200 (they grow with the size of the room).
- With a decorator we add delivery, setup, and breakdown (about 12%, at least $200). With DIY you pay about 45% of the price for materials and rent the arch and lights without setup.

Questions and answers
How much does decor for 100 guests cost?
At the standard level with a decorator, about $2,600 for centerpieces, candles, the sweetheart table, an arch, and setup. A simple version comes to about $1,250, a lavish one easily goes past $5,000.
Is DIY worth it?
For centerpieces and candles, yes - you save more than half. Big pieces (an arch, lights across the ceiling) are better rented or left to the pros.
