Where the money goes

  • Classic booth with prints4 hours with an attendant$750
  • Scrapbook guest bookadd-on$150
  • Guests use the booth most once the dance floor fills up after dinner and the first dances. Put it near the dance floor, but not in a walkway.
  • Usually included: an attendant, unlimited prints, props, one backdrop, and an online gallery. Ask whether extra hours are billed at the same rate.

How we calculate

  1. The price is a setup fee (delivery, setup, attendant) plus a rate for every hour - that’s how rental companies quote. So 2 hours don’t cost half of 4.
  2. Rates match 2026 market prices: a classic booth about $500 for 2 hours and $1,000 for 6, a mirror booth about $600 / $1,200, a 360 video booth about $700 / $1,400.
  3. The range from -20% to +25% reflects the spread of quotes. Your location shifts service prices.

Questions and answers

How many hours should we book?

Usually 3-4 hours at the peak of the party, roughly from 7 to 11 PM. Shorter rarely pays off, because the setup fee is the same, and many companies have a 2-3 hour minimum.

How many photos does a photo booth take?

A classic booth takes about 50-70 photo sessions an hour, so roughly 240 over 4 hours. A 360 booth makes about 40 short videos an hour.
